All PB Driver Training instructors are DSA Approved LGV Driving Instructors. It is NOT a statutory requirement that “driver training instructors” are qualified to teach so long as they have a standard driving licence.
At PB Driver Training, all our qualified instructors have a wealth of training experience as well as many accumulated years of “actual” HGV / LGV driving experience. They are able to provide an invaluable mix of required “theory” and “practical” experience. All PB Driver Training instructors are subject to an ongoing training and skills schedule to ensure you get the best possible training.
In the European Union, heavy goods vehicle (HGV) is the old term for what is now called a large goods vehicle (LGV). Instructors for these vehicles, which can weigh 7.5 tons, are master drivers certified to teach others.
Our instructors are able to train at our specialist on-site training camp near Bristol or visit your business to provide group training (minimum numbers apply, course dependent).
